Paul Bernstein Artist Catalog (2009)
Gdloft collaborated with Professor Paul Bernstein on a tenure package that would both serve as a formal presentation, promotional tool, and artistic record. In order for the book to remain presentable to a traditional academic audience and to complement the artist’s conceptual process, subtle choices were made to balance this formality. Multiple paper stocks were used to accent particular sections and a flexible grid system was utilized. In addition, each book was suited with die-cut flap on the back cover to hold a sample DVD of live performances.
