Philadelphia Photo Art Center Identity (2009)
PPAC is a nonprofit organization devoted to the study, practice, and appreciation of contemporary digital photography. Thus a flexible visual solution was needed to reflect this exact mission. The logo began from the concept of a photographer’s ground glass focusing screen that constantly changes focus. PPAC’s identity incorporates three addition shapes into these permutations which represent each of their core organizational goals (study, practice, and appreciation). This allows for different experiences with the logo across various collateral.
