Rutgers Camden Center for the Arts
University of Delaware BA, BFA and MFA Viewbook
The Complex Weave exhibition centered around women and identity in contemporary art. The catalog was created to reflect the intricacy of the work while not relying on expected or stereotypical visuals of women and art. The entire look of the catalog attempts to join the visual complexity of the exhibition’s works and the written content describing them.

The design of the catalog is derived of multiple grids subtly layered upon each other. Information playfully shifts and ‘weaves’ around on these grids while keeping the all information clear. To further express the aspect of “weaving,” the title appears when two books are placed together or if the folded cover is fully opened.
